Here are some of my most frequently asked questions. If you don’t see your question below, then feel free to contact me.

Do you offer Gift Wrap?

Yes! All my pieces are beautifully wrapped with care, (either in re-purposed tissue and an organza bag for plated jewellery, or in an eco friendly presentation box for Sterling Silver and Gold-Filled jewellery) so are ready to gift.

However if you are purchasing a gift for someone, or would like it posted directly to them, I also offer a ‘Gift Wrap’ option at an additional price which can be selected during checkout.

Gift Wrap items will be presented in a beautiful eco friendly gift box, wrapped in twine. A small handmade gift card (made by me!) will also be included with your message – similar to the image above.

Do you ship internationally?

Yes, I ship world-wide. However, due to the current Covid-19 pandemic, there may be some restrictions or delays to some countries.

Please note that due to Brexit, there may also be some additional delays to shipping to EU countries.

I ship international orders (outside of UK/Ireland) by Royal Mail Tracked International Shipping to allow you to track your order on its journey for peace of mind. Customers in the Republic of Ireland will have Standard International Shipping, however Tracked International Shipping can be selected as an upgrade at an additional cost.

NI/UK orders have free standard shipping (Royal Mail 2nd Class) however you can upgrade at an additional cost to 1st Class Signed For, or Special Delivery Tracked and Signed for faster shipping.

Do you cleanse/charge crystals before posting?

I charge all my crystals under the light of a recent full moon. I also cleanse each crystal in a Selenite bowl before posting to customers.

However it is recommended that you cleanse or charge crystals yourself if you wish to do so. As crystals will pick up energies around them, they may have absorbed some negative energy on their shipping journey to you.

The easiest way to cleanse your crystal would be under the moonlight. I recommend you do this simply by placing your necklace on a windowsill indoors so the crystal can absorb the moonlight, but will be protected from the rain which could damage the jewellery.

Please do not leave your crystal necklace in humid conditions or direct sunlight.

How do I care for my crystal jewellery?

My jewellery features genuine crystals, and as such must be cared for properly to ensure they retain their natural, beautiful qualities. You will receive a crystal care slip with each order explaining how to care for your crystal jewellery.

What is the difference between Gold-Filled and gold plated jewellery?

Gold-Filled jewellery is not to be confused with Gold Plated jewellery. Gold-filled comprises of a solid gold layer (14K in the instance of my jewellery) which is permanently bonded to a base metal. This makes Gold-filled jewellery very hard wearing under careful wear, and will not peel or flake like gold plating would. Gold-filled is also a more economical alternative to solid gold.

In contrast, plated jewellery contains a base alloy metal with a layer of silver or gold covered (plated) on top.

The benefit of plated jewellery is that it is available at a lower price point than precious metals or gold-filled metal. The downside is that plated jewellery will not last forever as it can discolour, peel or flake.

What metals are your jewellery made from?

I use 4 types of metals in my LUNA LAPIS jewellery.

I have a high quality collection of Sterling Silver precious metal, and 14K Gold-Filled jewellery intended for everyday wear to last for many years to come. I also have a costume jewellery collection featuring 925 Silver plating or 18K Gold plating intended for more occasional wear and at a lower price point.

Does your jewellery contain Nickel?

No, all of my jewellery pieces are Nickel free.

I have a particular crystal jewellery item I would like made, do you take commissions or custom orders?

Unfortunately at the moment I do not have the time commitments to be able to take regular commissions or custom orders and I am only able to offer crystal jewellery designs listed on my Etsy shop.

However, please don’t hesitate to contact me about a commission or a particular crystal you have in mind and I will see what I can do!
